Other Comments *UPDATED*: Ralphie's foster parents have said….Ralphie is a lovely liver and white springer spaniel, a real character that likes to be in your company. His recall is good and he loves to run around within your sight of vision, so would help someone to “keep fit”, maybe a “running buddy!” Ralphie is most comfortable in your space and can become a little whingy when he can’t see you. Most of all he enjoys snuggling up on the sofa with you for strokes. However, due to having to be crated for 4 months when he was younger, he doesn’t socialize well with other dogs. He wouldn’t approach another dog, but would go for a dog if it came too close to him. His owners used to walk him where there weren’t many dogs to get around this issue.
He will let you look at his ears and teeth, but not his feet or underbelly, which might stem from an operation he had when younger. Ralphie needs a home where there are no other dogs, babies or small children, although he seems fine with both older children and teenagers. He has never bitten, but had been grumbling at his owner’s 16 month old baby, which is the reason he is being rehomed. His owner’s were really sad to let Ralphie go.
